At Fairfield we provide our drivers a "family atmosphere" that is friendly, understanding and courteous. This is made possible by having a professional, experienced dispatch staff that puts the driver first. They make sure that all drivers are home every weekend, and there is no forced dispatch - so drivers can make their own schedule.
Also, drivers are offered benefits such as health insurance, comchecks, and can participate in the Trailer-Lease and Tire Purchase programs. We encourage drivers to come into the terminals and talk to the dispatchers as well as other staff - face-to-face - including the Boss.
We're not just a voice on a telephone, or a face on the other side of a glass window, and to us the driver isn't just another number.
