Fairfield Trucking, Inc. was established in 1947 as a small intrastate carrier based in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Since then, the company has established itself as a successful carrier of lumber and building materials serving an area composed of the Southern and Southeast United States. The corporate headquarters was moved to the town of Hamburg, Arkansas in 1981 when the company came under the ownership of the current President, Jerry R. Barnes.

Fairfield Trucking has short and long haul freight available throughout its service region, and uses a centralized, no-force dispatch system.

Over the years, Fairfield has expanded its operations and now has two terminals, over 190 power units leased on, and an award winning safety program.

Fairfield utilizes flatbeds that are recent model, 96" to 102" wide and 48 feet in length, and are air-ride, low-weight for maximum capacity. The drybox vans are recent model, 102" wide air-ride of 53-foot length. All equipment is frequently inspected to ensure safety and consistently timely delivery to our customers.
